Hamilton Tennis Club get off to a good start


The first and second teams, who played on Sunday, both won 8-0. The third team’s match was postponed because of heavy rain on Saturday.
Because of Covid-19 there was no summer league tennis this year and strict rules have been introduced for the winter matches.

Hide AdThe first team travelled to Charnwood and played the club’s 3rd team. Sue Harrison and Jessi Jackson won 6-1 6-2, 6-1 6-2 and Penny Hallam and Emily Harrison 6-0 6-1, 6-2 6-3.
The second team played Lutterworth 2nds at home. Margaret Shufflebotham and Margaret Heggs won 6-0 6-0, 6-1 6-2 and Jo Rowe and Polly Dolby won 6-3 6-2, 6-2 6-0.
