Hamilton TC Firsts are off to a good start

Hamilton Tennis Club’s Men’s First team had a successful start to their Winter League season with a 6-2 victory over Gynsill Seconds.

Andy Douglas and Richard Physick won all four sets without dropping a game while Joe Jackson and Jimmi Cox picked up the other two.

The Men’s third team of Graham Hall with Graham Brown and George Simpson with Steve Thompson beat Carisbrooke D 6-2, each pair winning three sets.

The Men’s Fourth team lost 6-2 when they entertained Houghton thirds, Edwin Shufflebotham with Selwyn Carter and Joe Cunningham with Jon Dyson each winning a set.

All winter league matches are now on hold because of lockdown.
