Stoke Rochford Golf Club prepare for post lockdown return

Golf at Stoke Rochford will resume on 2nd December after the months’ lockdown.

The last Seniors’ competition prior to lockdown was their annual Poppy Appeal Individual Stableford.

Forty-one hardy souls took to the course to support this fantastic charity event.

The winner, with 39pts, was Seniors Captain Mike Thornton, in second place, with 37pts, was Terry Haggerty and in third place was Matt Owen with 36pts on countback.

Nearest the Pin in two on the 13th Hole went to Jeff Purdy and nearest the Pin on 17th hole was won by Keith Dugmore.

The final amount raised for the British Legion Poppy Appeal Charity was £525.
