Mitchell and Ewart finish first in seniors’ KO qualifier

Forty-four players entered and were split into high and low handicaps before partners were drawn.

Winners with 47 points were Greg Ewart and Barry Mitchell.

In second with 45 points were Darrell Knight and Adrian Stannard.

Third went to Glyn Staines and Alex Whitelaw with 44 and fourth on 43 were Malcolm Edwards and Phil White.

Other qualifiers who all scored 42 points were John Hitchman and Ray Elsome, Peter Gill and Steve Ward, Brian Ayto and Andy Edwards and Mark Tyler and Roger Smith.
