Former Mowbray Rangers youngster gives Blades survival hope at Old Trafford

Melton footballer Oliver Burke made the headlines last night as he netted the winner for Sheffield United at Manchester United - his first Premier League goal.

The victory prevented Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side reclaiming top spot in the Premier League but - more importantly - earned the Blades their second win of the league campaign.

The Scotland international, who cut his teeth playing for Mowbray Rangers, drove home in the 74th minute after Harry Maguire had cancelled out Kean Bryan's opener.

Sheffield remain bottom of the table, 10 points off safety, but have closed the gap on second-bottom West Brom - Burke's former club - to three points.
