Keast and Smith goals put Holwell Sports into Melton Charity Cup final

GOALS from experienced players Graham Keast and Steve Smith put Holwell Sports through to the final of this year’s Melton Charity Cup.

Holwell exacted revenge for last season’s cup final loss when they beat holders Melton Mowbray 2-1 in the second semi-final at the All England Ground last Wednesday night.

Melton upset the odds last year to end Holwell’s long winning run in the cup on a penalty shoot-out

Holwell will now play Leicester and District League side Queniborough, semi-final conquerors of Long Clawson, in the final on Wednesday evening at Asfordby Amateurs FC, kick-off 7.30pm.
