Holwell Sports suffer Boxing Day washout
Holwell Sports hopes of breaking their bad run were dashed when their Boxing Day clash with fellow strugglers Ellistown and Ibstock was called off.
A waterlogged pitch put paid to the clash at Welby Road between two of the East Midlands Counties League’s bottom three.
On Saturday, Simon Daws’ side are due to return to action at Arnold Town who lie four places above Holwell in 14th. Kick-off 3pm.
