Now Miller has warned against a backlash ahead of Saturday’s match at Fernie Fields (KO 3pm).

“If you keep an eye on social media, they’ve been tipped to be the team that could upset that top four this season,” he said.

“When we look at the result they got against Bourne, they’re going to be really keen to bounce back and put that result to the back of their minds.

“We need to re-set. You don’t win a league in one game.

“We’ll bring the guys back down to Earth because this weekend will mean nothing if you can’t follow it up.”

Ross Dunlop, Aidan Black, Stan Logan will be available for selection this weekend, after missing the victory over Huntingdon, although Allcock is an injury doubt.

Holwell will hit the road again on Tuesday as they face St Andrews at Canal Street (KO 7.45pm).

Ryan Kirk, Chris Shaw and Toby Wells all moved to Sports from St Andrews this summer.

“There’ll be a bit of rivalry as they’re close to us, but we have taken three players from them as well,” Miller added.

“They’ll be keen to put the record straight that those players should have stayed.”

Title hopefuls Melton Town kicked off their Division One campaign with a decisive 7-3 thrashing of Wellingborough Whitworth on Saturday.

Laithan Hammond bagged a hat-trick while Zak Munton (two), Jordan lever and Robert Parsons were on target for Tom Manship’s side.

Saturday’s contest against Burton Park Wanderers has been postponed following a case of COVID-19 in the Wanderers camp.

Town will now return to action on Tuesday evening as they host Birstall United Social (KO 7.45pm).
