The game started well with Asfordby calling the opposition keeper into action a few times before Rhys Hill converted a penalty after being brought down.

Soon after LocalLinkz cleared their lines from a cross and the resulting ball was latched onto by an attacker. A mix up at the back left the LocalLinkz man to equalise into an empty net.

Duncan Simpson had a couple of good efforts at goal before Dylan Hill was set free from a through ball, confidently slotting past the keeper to restore Asfordby’s lead before half time.

The second half was a good battling performance with keeper Karl Reed making impressive saves.
