County FA to host England Talent Day at Brooksby

Leicestershire and Rutland County FA is hosting an England Talent Day at Brooksby Melton College on Saturday, March 25 for young players with disabilities.

Running from 11am to 1pm, the Talent Day aims to identify young players playing disability and mainstream football aged 12 to 16 for next season, and is one of 35 taking place across the country.

The day is open to the partially sighted and blind, deaf/hearing impaired, amputees, and those with cerebral palsy and learning disabilities.

Philippa Bass, County FA Football Development Officer (Disability), said: “We are currently looking for suitable players who have an impairment or disability to attend the day, with the possibility of being put forward for a Regional Talent Centre.”
