Coalville pushed against the Asfordby defence but they held strong with Bott and Keogh making good tackles in the middle to stop the attacks.

Felstead and Atherley used the wings to try and spread the Coalville defence but the keeper stopped the attacks with good positional play.

The second half was a proper midfield battle with both sides battling to gain possession and start attacks.

Hulett and Torr pushed the play forward and Felstead just put a chance wide before making way for Strong on the right wing.

Harris was fouled just outside the penalty area with 10 minutes to go and stepped up to take the free kick himself.

The ball thumped against the Coalville wall, Harris picked up the rebound and hammered it into the back of the net to the jubilation of the team.

It wasn’t the prettiest of performances but another good three points to move Asfordby eight points clear at the top of the table.
