Annual Melton charity football match starring ex Leicester legends nets over £1,400 for Treble One Trust
The trust - which helps sufferers of motor neurone disease - was set up by inspirational Melton man and fundraiser Stewart Sparling before he died almost a year ago after a brave battle with the condition.
This year’s match, played at the Melton Sports Village on Sunday - was the fifth year the Leicester City Legends had come over to Melton to play the Treble One team.

The match ended in a 5-1 victory for the Legends, whose players travelled from far and wide to take part in support of the Treble One Trust.
Despite the miserable weather there was a great show of support and thanks go to all of the people who generously donated raffle prizes and to Pc Ian McGrath for making the event happen.
