Hide AdFirst team captain Charlie Taylor made a rare appearance for the seconds after just recovering from an ankle ligament injury and he opened with the prolific Doughty (61).
The opener was not quite his fluent self, but laid the foundations for Taylor to bat through to a well-deserved ton (116) as Countesthorpe toiled in the heat.
Pole (34 not out) was the other main contributor as Syston made 240-3 from their 45 overs.
Syston got right into Countesthorpe from the start as Pole (3 for 33), Bathia (3 for 37) and Cooper (3 for 30) bowled the visitors out in only 30 overs, rushing through the last eight overs as rain threatened to deny them the maximum 24 points.
Another great team performance as Syston stay in third place, just five points behind leaders Bardon Hill.
Syston travel to Shepshed Town this Saturday.
