Running Foxes show their support for diversity in cricket
Chairman for Leicestershire County Cricket Club Mehmooda Duke said the club welcomed the plans to make cricket much more representative and drive out discrimination.
The three-step plan includes: create a new independent commission for equality, a new forum for race in cricket and a new Equality Code of Conduct.

The flags displayed are from 39 different nationalities of citizens living in Leicestershire and have been displayed on the fencing off Miligan Road.

Duke is the first ever female chair in the history of UK County Cricket and said: “I am really proud that we are already at the forefront of this journey to make cricket more accessible to all.”
LCCC is at the forefront of driving diversity in cricket with BAME representatives on the board and throughout the Academy set-up.
LCCC recently launched a new membership offering for 2021 and welcomes new members from across Leicestershire and Rutland.
The club has the best value membership offering across the UK County Cricket Circuit, which includes all U12 children entitled to a free membership.
