Hosting Radcliffe-on-Trent Third XI, Dalby were put into bat and got off to a good start through openers Gant (16) and Herrick (25) before Wass (55) took over, with useful support from David Greaves (33), Conway (30) and Clayton 38.

Coulter (14) and Gent (18 not out) also added good lower order runs as Dalby posted a daunting 301-8.

In reply Radcliffe never really looked like chasing the score down as they looked to stop Dalby from taking maximum points.

Four wickets from Creedon, three for Alfie Greaves, including two in two balls, and single wickets from Gent and Gant, allied to two good catches from Coulter saw the visitors dismissed for 158 all out to complete a 143-run win.

The result leaves Old Dalby 15 points clear of nearest rivals Thrumpton and already 35 points ahead of third-placed East Bridgford.
