Opener Fisher was providing the only resistance as Tew ripped into Dunton’s middle order and tail to finish with an impressive seven wicket haul for only 29 runs. Tew was unplayable with five of his victims being clean bowled.

Fisher was finally out for a battling 43 as Dunton finished with a disappointing 76 all out.

Melton’s reply was immediately positive with Gaz Potter taking the initiative and went on to score a quick 48 not out.

Steve Freer supported Potter as Melton’s opening pair reached their target without loss after only 15 overs to gain a maximum 24 points.
