Coaching with the Bees is returning.

Belvoir Bees kwik cricket returns to Melton and the Vale of Belvoir from the Easter holidays.

The sessions, run by the Belvoir Cricket & Countryside Trust, are aimed at boys and girls aged five to 11, offering 90 minutes of quality coaching.

Trust chief executive Darren Bicknell said: “Our aim is to get children up and active from an early age. They learn the fundamentals of the game in a fun and inclusive way, progressing at their own pace, and many go on to join local cricket clubs. We supply all of the kit so book your place and have a go.”

The start dates are as follows with sessions running from 6pm to 7.30pm (5pm to 6.30pm at Grove only), £3.50 per week unless stated otherwise.

Mondays - Grove Primary, Melton, 10 weeks from April 12 (£1 per session)

Tuesdays - Asfordby Parish Hall, 20 weeks from March 30 (£2 per session)

Wednesdays - Croxton Kerrial Sports & Social Club, 15 weeks from March 31

Wednesdays - Great Dalby Cricket Club, 15 weeks from March 31

Thursdays - Hose Village Hall, 15 weeks from April 1

Fridays - Belvoir Cricket Club, Knipton, 20 weeks from April 2

Season passes are available for Croxton Kerrial, Great Dalby, Hose and Knipton reducing the weekly session fee to £2.50.

The sessions will follow all the COVID guidelines for sports coaching and at present the sessions are limited to 30 children. They are being booked on a first come first served basis and to attend you must pre-register and have your place confirmed.
