The hosts batted first, but were dismissed for just 92 in 38 overs, with the visitors losing just one wicket as they raced to victory in 17 overs.

While Thorpe took just one point from the game, Sports’ haul of 25 saw them leapfrog over them to open a 15 point lead at the top of Division Six East.

They still hold a six point lead over promotion rivals Shree Sanatan II, and will travel to strugglers Fleckney Village on Saturday before wrapping up their season at home against the same opposition a week later.
