Brownlow and Great Dalby aces win schools tennis titles

The Melton and Belvoir Primary School Tennis competition saw teams from Great Dalby, Brownlow, Sherard and Swallowdale compete at Hamilton Tennis Club.

The Year 3 and 4 competition took place in the morning with Brownlow and Great Dalby making it through to the final which the village school won 3-1.

Dalby went on to represent Melton and Belvoir at last Thursday’s Leicestershire and Rutland School Games Summer Championships at Welbeck Defence College.

The Year 5 and 6 competition took place after lunch and brought a repeat of the earlier final, and Brownlow turned the tables on Great Dalby with victory.
