Iman jetted off to the Spanish city with her dad mark, who is also her coach, after an invitation to hold a Thai boxing seminar at the Boonchvay Gym.

They were invited by gym owner David Pedrosa, a big fan of the Assassins star, and his young niece Paula, who shares the Pretty Killer nickname with Iman.

The 23-year-old took a two-hour lesson for a group of 36 Thai boxers and then spent an hour signing gloves and doing media work.

She said: “We were treated like stars. It was the first seminar I’ve done in Spain and loved the experience.”

Iman is due to travel to Ireland in January for another seminar.

“Iman is very popular in Spain,” added Mark. “It’s great to see all of the hard work is paying off for her and the Assassins Gym.”

Her next fight is back in Melton on Saturday, November 12 when the Melton gym hosts its final show of the year at the Market Tavern.

A total of 17 fighters from the gym will be in action, including a debut for Lexi Peters against Jenny Eastland, from Kettering’s Wutan Gym.

Shaydon Burt takes on another tough fighter from the Wutan Gym in Markas Bersenk, while another high-calibre bout is expected between hometown fighter Saxon Nugent and Frank Mulley from the Double K Gym, in London.

Australian fighter Logan Carter, from the Lion’s Den Gym, meets Wutan’s Luca Cooper, while Billy Hammond goes up against Liverpool’s Thomas Harvey from the respected Fortitude Gym.

“This is going to be a technical battle between two quality fighters,” Mark said.

There will also be two demonstration bouts by three Assassins and Kobi Carter from the Lion’s Den Gym.

Doors open at 5.30pm for a 6pm start.

Tickets are available from any Assassin member, Nicko’s Fish Bar or through the Assassins Muay Thai Facebook page. Tickets will also be available on the door.
