Iman Barlow defeats tough Spaniard in Melton

The multiple world champion beat Maribel De Sousa on points after a dominant performance and will now turn her attentions to her assignment in London on Saturday, March 26.

Iman, nicknamed Pretty Killer, was top of the bill for the Assassins Muay Thai Boxing Gym’s first show of the year at the Market Tavern, in Melton.

It proved a fast-paced bout with the Spaniard preferring to attack with her hands, while the home fighter used her big body kicks.

De Sousa was up for the fight and tried to land big shots, but the Melton fighter was in control throughout and her power and movement prevented any serious threat.
