The-18-year-old faces his toughest assignment to date on Saturday, February 20 against highly-rated Spanish fighter Juan ‘Crispy’ Antanez.

The Spaniard is five years older than the Melton Thai boxer and has 15 adult bouts to this name, including a recent European title contest.

Thai’s father and trainer Mark Barlow said: “Sometimes you have to gamble with fights. We know Thai is a good junior fighter so let’s see what he can do in the senior ranks against men who are much stronger.”
