Belvoir Vale Bowls Club held their annual presentation evening at Melton Mowbray Golf Club on Friday.

Club members, families and friends enjoyed a three-course meal before club president John Law and vice-president Vivien Pugh presented the trophies to the winners and runners-up.

Ladies’ Singles champion: Evelyn Underwood; runner-up: Eileen Harrop. Ladies’ Pairs champions: Eileen Harrop and Josie Exton; runners-up: Sue Britton and Daphne Birch. Ladies’ Triples champions: Di Gorman, Pat Wright, Josie Exton; runners-up: Viv Pugh, Paddy Marshall, Jill Lambert.

Men’s Singles champion: Tim Warrener; runner-up: Richard Warrener. Men’s Pairs champions: Tony Webb and Richard Warrener; runners-up: Chris Gorman and Lawrie Pugh. Men’s Triples champions: Geoff Harrop, Malcolm, Britton, John Law; runners-up: Winston Rawlings, Gordon Crooke, John Lambert.

Mixed Pairs champions: Jill Lambert and Richard Warrener; runners-up: John Mackley and Evelyn Underwood.

Novices Singles champion: John Shaw; runner-up: Pat Wright.
