A former colliery site, the park has been a focal point for industrial and commercial activities in the East Midlands for years, providing a strategic base for companies due to its excellent transport links and flexible space offerings providing industrial space and outside storage.

Melton Commercial Park offers:

-         Good HGV access to the A46

-         Plenty of parking

-          Open storage plots ranging from 0.25 – 3.84 acres

-         Units ranging from 3,370 - 27,453 Sq Ft (313-2,550 Sq M)

In recent months, Melton Commercial Park has seen a surge in interest from companies looking to establish or expand their presence in the Midlands and the range of industrial units, great road network and flexible lease are seeing the park expand.

“The expansion of Melton Commercial Park is expected to have a significant positive impact on the local economy,” said Charlie Lallo, of Mather Jamie, one of the agents for Melton Commercial Park, acting on behalf of owners Almcor.

“The influx of new businesses is anticipated to create hundreds of jobs, both directly within the park and indirectly through the supply chains and services that support these businesses. Additionally, the park's growth is likely to attract further investment into the area, boosting the local economy and providing opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises.”

Be part of the success story

The park's management and agency team has been actively working to attract a diverse range of tenants, from logistics and distribution companies to manufacturers and service providers. The availability of flexible lease options and the ability to work with occupiers to meet specific business needs have been key factors in attracting new tenants.

Modern industrial units ranging in size from 3,370 to 27,453 Sq Ft (313 to 2,550 Sq M) are available to let. For example there are ‘terrace’ style units within a purpose-built steel portal frame warehouse with each benefiting from steel roller powered loading doors, solid concrete flooring and shared staff WC facilities and a 10-ton crane. Each has a dedicated concrete yard and forecourt for loading and parking, and additional hardstanding is available by separate negotiation.

Others are larger units, like Unit H, a brick-built detached building with a flat roof. This two-story unit is built into a bank, and so can be accessed from either level, the ground, or first floor. Two bays provide warehousing currently fitted out for vehicle pre-delivery inspection with ample lighting and internal drainage.  The ground floor also has two self-contained lock-up stores, each with roller shutter access.

Most units have some office space and as well as designated parking there is also plenty of shared parking ideal for accommodating staff.

There are also a variety of secure open storage plots with soft and hardstanding surfaces. These plots are range from 0.25 – 3.84 acres.
