Your chance to discuss key Melton issues with council members

Residents, business people and members of community groups in Melton are invited to attend an open public meeting to discuss ways of helping to shape and improve life in the borough.

The Community Forum event, which is at Melton Council’s Parkside offices at 6pm on Monday October 17, is an opportunity for people to meet councillors and officers to talk about local issues.

Subjects raised at previous sessions include transport, access to broadband, healthy eating, car parking charges and the living wage.

Council leader, Councillor Pam Posnett, said: “This is an important event for councillors and we welcome the chance to respond to questions.

“We see it as a way of finding out what people think about council services, as well as understanding concerns, and this all helps to inform future decisions that affect us all.

“I urge people to come along and take part in this Community Forum.”
