Two twin sisters have defied million-to-one odds and have given birth to their babies, hours apart, in the same hospital and on the same ward.

Natalie and Leanne Paulson (21) from Branston, Leicestershire gave birth to their babies within hours of each other despite their due dates being over a week apart.

However when Leanne went into labour a week later than expected, the twins both ended up at Leicester Royal Infirmary in rooms next to each other.

Leanne gave birth to a boy called Carter at 6:71pm and Natalie gave birth to a girl called Mila-Rose at 12:02am the next day.
