Two men killed and four injured in Somerby collision

The incident took place at around 10.45pm yesterday, on Oakham Road, about 150 metres to the east of Pickwell Road and involved two cars, a blue Ford Mondeo and a black Jaguar Estate.

The drivers of the vehicles, both men, sustained fatal injuries and were pronounced deceased at the scene.

Three women, and a man, remain in Nottingham’s Queens Medical Centre where they were taken with what was described as serious injuries.

Detective Constable 1288 Paul Bingham would like to speak to anyone who saw either of the vehicles being driven beforehand or the collision itself.
