Traffic delays after bus fire at Asfordby
Two crews of firefighters from the Melton station were deployed to the incident when it was reported at 7.18am.
The fire service say the blaze was believed to have started in the electrics in the engine compartment and that 20 per cent damage was caused to the vehicle.

Hide AdA spokesperson for Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service said: “A call was received to a bus on fire just before the Asfordby roundabout on the bypass road.
“A double decker bus was well alight and the fire was extinguished using a hose reel jet.”
Leicestershire Police have reported that traffic was backed up to Melton and to the A46 as a result of the bypass being closed.
