Stargaze with a cozy cuppa at tearoom

The Old Brickyard Tea Garden, a delightful tearoom in Scalford is hosting a free star gazing event on Friday from 7.30pm until late.

Anna Stasinska owner of the tearoom said: “Whether you’re a keen astronomer with your own telescope or would just love to look through one, a warm welcome to all is gauranteed.

“We’re lucky in Leicestershire to have lots of lovely open countryside, but there aren’t many spots which are easily accessable to all, without the need for a 4x4, where you can enjoy gazing at a clear dark sky with a relaxing cuppa and homemade cake.”
