Melton's annual Scout parade celebrating the patron saint of England promises to be another eye-catching affair on Sunday (May 24) as hundreds of proud Scouts and their leaders march through the town.
The parade will form at the Tuxford and Tebbutt car park in Thorpe End at 12.30pm and will make its way along Sherrard Street to arrive for a service at St Mary’s Church at 1pm.
Scouting awards will be presented during the service. Afterwards the parade will reform at about 2pm before going back on the march.
