A Halloween family fun event is taking place at Melton’s John Ferneley College on Monday.

Lots of fun activities are scheduled, including a raffle, trick or treat, a cake sale and Halloween crafts.

Entry for the event is free, it starts and 4pm and runs through to 6pm.

***The last Open Gardens event of the year at Tresillian House, in Melton, is on Sunday, from 11am until 4pm.

Refreshments will be served, including stew and dumplings.

***Barnsdale Gardens, at Oakham, hosts its ‘Scary Spooktacular’ Friday through to Sunday
