Two casualties treated after vehicles collide on village road
Two casualties have been treated following a collision at Thurmaston this morning (Thursday) involving two vehicles.
Firefighters from Birstall and the city’s Eastern station attended the Barkby Thorpe Lane incident, which was reported just before 11am.
A crew from East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) also attended the scene.
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service said one casualty was being assessed by the paradmedics and the other was assisted into an ambulance.
