Hide AdBut he likes nothing more than taking a spin in his stunning 1989 Lagoon Blue 1989 Silver Spirit since buying it in October.
It’s not cheap to run - costing £80 a day to insure - but the joy of being behind the wheel and the admiring glances the car attracts more than makes up for it.
Cormac, who is a motoring journalist who reviews luxury cars on his own You Tube channel, said: “When I collected the car from Mansfield and drove it back to Melton Mowbray it was a very special moment.

Hide Ad“I will never forget sitting behind the steering wheel with the Spirit of Ecstasy (the distinctive Rolls Royce bonnet ornament) in front of me.
“It was a magical moment which I will never forget.
“I remember, while driving the car back, everyone was taking pictures of it and waving at me.
“I also took it through a McDonald’s drive thru, which wasn’t a very good idea as the car is so big it’s like trying to manoeuvre Westminster Abbey.

Hide Ad“And it also doesn’t help when you have everyone, from teenagers to pensioners, surrounding your car, asking questions and taking pictures of it, which I must admit I do enjoy.”
Cormac, who is also a DJ at Melton’s 103 The Eye radio station, saved up to buy his Rolls Royce after initially eyeing up a Rolls Royce Phantom Coupe after test driving it when he was 18.
His Silver Spirit only does 12 miles to the gallon so he uses it sparingly, although he has enjoyed taking his mum to the town’s Aldi and picking up a friend from college in it.

Hide AdHe admits he has received a few negative comments from some people while out in his own Roller.
Cormac added: “Everyone thinks that my parents bought the car for me.
“This is why I have kept the paperwork in the car to prove that it was mine and that I bought it.”
