'My exciting day being in the audience for the Loose Women TV show'
Over the weekend, while scrolling through the endless stream of emails in my inbox, one message stood out - an official invitation asking me to be in London on December 8, 2025 to be in the audience on the ITV1 morning chat show, Loose Women.
It’s filmed live at the BBC Television Centre, on Wood Lane, and I had been told clearly: be there before 11am or risk missing out.

With only a limited number of seats and members of the public also queueing for entry, timing was everything.
So, at 5am, I jumped into the car in Melton, suited up in my Versace shirt, dollar-pattern suit and purple velvet jacket, and hit the road.

By 7am, I was pulling up outside the BBC - the first one there, buzzing with excitement.
As the queue began to form, I noticed that many of the audience were older ladies who appeared to be dragging their husbands along for the outing.
Monday’s panel consisted of Ruth Langsford, Kelle Bryan, Janet Street-Porter and Gloria Hunniford, with special guest Nigel Havers taking his place on the famous panel desk.
Because of my stand-out outfit, I was ushered straight to the front row, right where the action happens.

During filming, we clapped, cheered and reacted to the competition segments as it went out live.
But the surprises didn’t stop there. During the advert breaks, producers selected me and three other audience members to sit on our own Loose Women panel - a mock version designed to keep the studio entertained while the cameras weren’t rolling.
My job was to hype up the audience and introduce the real competition shown on air.
It wasn’t long before the producer and photographer recognised me from Channel 4’s First Dates.
When I explained that I’m also a radio presenter and motoring journalist, everything clicked - and they even complimented my dress sense throughout the show.
After filming wrapped, I stepped back outside into the London air - and celebrated the moment with a photo alongside panellist Kelle Bryan, a singer who first found fame with Eternal.
A simple weekend email had turned into a glamorous day of stardom.
