More details on Burton Street closures

The four-day closure of Melton’s Burton Street will only take place in the evenings.

We reported last week that the road would be closed to traffic from Wednesday until Friday next week.

Leicestershire County Council Highways has now given more details, with the closure taking place only from 7pm to midnight on those days.

The closure will stretch from the junction with Market Place to the turn for Ankle Hill.

The road surface is being repaired.
