Molly Reek has already had pledges of more than £1,000 for her fundraiser, which is in aid of the LOROS charity, which supports thousands of local people with terminal illnesses and their families.

Molly’s sister. Leah (18), was tragically killed following a deliberate explosion in a Leicester shop nearly three years ago while she was in the flat above with her boyfriend and members of his family.

Leah was a volunteer for the LOROS day therapy service and studying for a career in social care when she died.

She is the inspiration for her sister as she pounds the pavements in regular runs en route to that impressive target distance.

Molly said: “Anyone that knows me will know that I absolutely hate running but I’ve decided to challenge myself to run 100km throughout the month of November to try and raise some money for LOROS in memory of our beautiful Loo.” ❤️

Jo Reek, Leah and Molly’s mum, commented: “We are so proud of Molly for wanting to carry on Leah’s wishes for LOROS and even in these hard times people are kind enough to offer support.

“Molly is determined to keep Leah’s memory alive.”
