Team leader Lauren Osbourne said: “We have raised around £410 for CLIC Sargent. This is through customer donations and a minimum amount of £20 being raised by each staff member as sponsor money.

“The ride was very strenuous because none of the individuals that took part had taken on any previous training.

“I had to give myself a pep talk to carry on, but I’m glad I can say this is something that I and everyone else that took part has achieved.

“It felt great for everyone when we had finally finished. It’s nice to know that we have made a difference to someone else’s life.

“I would like to thank all the staff for giving it a go and members of the public for donating and helping us to raise our target. This activity is something we’ll defintely look to repeat again next year, as everyone enjoyed taking part.”
