Melton mum helps kick quarantine blues with family Facebook forum
Katie Howett’s ‘Isolation Motivation’ group has become a forum for the sharing of children’s crafts and activities, home school ideas, self care and fitness techniques, all of which can be done from home to kick those quarantine blues as we deal with the Covid-19 crisis.
Katie (29) and partner Steve Ironside also dress as Disney and comic book superhero costumes to deliver activities and messages to children.

“As an early years educator and children’s entertainer I have been sharing children’s activities and teaching children sign language dressed as Princess Belle.
“My partner Steve Iornside has been sending birthday messages to children who have missed seeing their friends on their birthdays while dressed as Captain America and Batman.
“Another admin on the group, Stacie Main, a work colleague of mine, has been sharing recipie and food preparation ideas to stretch meals and use what people already have in the cupboards, helping people to visit the shops less frequently and save money.
