Melton gets in a flap over stunning murmurations
Residents in Melton have been getting in a flap over stunning formations of huge numbers of birds flying in formation over the town and dropping mess on their cars.
Social media has been full of photos and videos showing the amazing murmurations which usually take place in early evenings.
It’s a spectacle which has been seen in Melton in previous years and which involves hundreds of birds, usually starlings, returning to their winter roosts after feeding.
