Melton Council office to reopen for appointments

Appointments are available again at Melton Borough Council’s offices from tomorrow (Thursday).

But the council asks people to pre-book a visit to the Parkside complex because of coronavirus restrictions.

Residents should call 01664 502502 and staff will decide if they should make an appointment or if the issue can be addressed online or on the phone.

The reception area will be cleaned regularly to limit the spread of Covid-19.

Public access computers will not be available to visitors.

Toilets are only available to people who have made an appointment.

Customer service advisors have been supplied with the relevant PPE, including a pack of washable face masks, gloves and hand sanitiser for their personal use.

The customer service desks are fitted with protective plastic screens.
