Kirby Lane to be closed to traffic for two days
Melton motorists are advised that Kirby Lane will be closed to traffic for eight hours on each of two days next month.
Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to the temporary order on September 9 and 10 so its road teams can carry out repairs on the carriageway.
No vehicle will be allowed on the road from 9am to 3pm on both days.
The proposed alternative diversion route will be via Sandy Lane, Queensway, Dalby Road, and vice versa.
County Hall says it apologises for any inconvenience caused during these works.
