Hickling villager hands over cheque for Alzheimer's research
A Hickling man has donated funds to support research into Alzheimer's disease.
Keith Wadkin presented a cheque to the value of £526 to professor Kevin Morgan of Nottingham University Medical School.
Professor Morgan told Keith and supporters about the developments in research, including the likelihood of there being drugs available within ten years to halt or slow progress of the condition.
Keith has now raised over £5,000 towards this cause, supported by many friends and neighbours.
