Facilities reopen to public at Melton Sports Village
The 30-station gym, floodlit tennis courts and the artificial football pitch have been closed to the public since early November due to tighter Covid restriction being imposed on the borough.
We reported earlier today that the sports village, which is based off Burton Road, will also be the area’s coronavirus vaccination centre from this week.

The company is continuing to offer swimming and gym sessions at the town’s Waterfield Leisure Centre, which it also manages and which was reopened for public use on December 2.
Covid-safety measures are in place at both venues to limit spread of coronavirus.
Sessions and activities must be pre-booked online at www.everyoneactive.com or via the relevant centre’s app.
