Melton youngsters raise £1,000 for Matt Hampson Foundation
Eleven committed teenagers have raised about £1,000 for the Matt Hampson Foundation.
The youngsters completed a 13 mile walk from Melton to Burrough-on-the-Hill and back, meeting Matt on the way.
They also completed a second challenge to ride for eight hours on a static bike donated by Melton sports village, taking it in turns for 15 minutes.

Hide AdTheir mentor, Jessica Tierney, said: “They wanted to help a local charity so the community could get behind it. They are really happy with the amount they have raised.”The Matt Hampson Foundation provides advice, support, relief and treatment for anyone suffering serious injury or disability, particularly arising from physical recreation or playing a sport.
