The Melton Mowbray Tally Ho Marching Band held a party at the Conservative Club to reminisce over times since 1936 when the band first formed.

The event included a performance from band Bakers Treat and a birthday cake was cut by Mick Short and Karen Joyce, two of the group’s longest serving members.

“Our cake was lovingly made and donated by a band supporter and business owner Michelle and we were given balloons from the card shop in Melton Mall.”

The band are always looking for new members from the age of 9 to 99. If interested in joining them contact Nickè on 07772800335 or visit their Facebook page.
