Mayor opens new Melton store which has created 34 jobs
Councillor David Wright, accompanied by wife Maureen, cut the ribbon at the discount retailer on Scalford Road yesterday (Thursday).
After declaring the business open, the Mayor said: “The store has created 34 new jobs which is very welcome news for the area and it has brought new life to premises that have been empty since the beginning of last year.
