Man treated after van flips on its side at Beeby
A man was released by firefighters after the transit van he was travelling in at Beeby left the road and flipped on to its side.
The incident, which happened on Barkby Road on Friday evening, at around 9.30pm, was attended by two fire crews from the city’s Eastern station and paramedics from East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS).
A spokesperson for Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We got a call from EMAS to assist at a road traffic collision.
“The incident involved a transit van, on its side in a field.
“One male person was trapped within the vehicle, he was released by fire crews and was treated by EMAS.”
