The bride, the eldest daughter of Jean Kemp, wore a blush tulle wedding dress and carried a bouquet of cream and pale pink roses, scented stocks and ranunculus.

She was given away by her brother, David Kemp. Her bridesmaids were Jemma Johnston (sister) and Kellie Alexander (best friend) who wore 1950’s style pink and cream floral dresses with pink petticoats. They carried bouquets of cream roses and stocks.

The flower girls were Autumn Johnston (niece), Maisie Johnston (niece) and Ella Alexander-Martin (daughter of bridesmaid). They wore pink dresses and carried pink rose wands.

The bridegroom, who is the son of Nigel and Fiona Brant, wore a navy tailed suit with a pink cravat and a pink rose, as did the groomsmen. His best man was Luke Carr, with Jamie Johnston and Ryan Callaghan as ushers. Page boy was Seth Johnston (nephew).

The bridal party was driven to church in a vintage 1960 VW camper van. The service was conducted by Rev Brian McAvoy.

A reception for 60 guests was held at Hoby Village Hall, with music by Maslow. The newlywed couple had their honeymoon in Las Vegas. They will live in Melton.
