Vale practice staff celebrate patient praise

It was found that 98 per cent of respondents found it easy to get through to the surgery by phone, 94 per cent were offered a choice of appointment when they last wanted to see a doctor, and 93 per cent were satisfied with the general practice appointment times available.

Practice manager Sue Timberlake said: “The practice has an unbroken history of service going back almost 200 years and we have many patients who have been registered with us all their lives and are now elderly.

“Our high level of patient satisfaction bears testimony to the standard of care we provide and we are delighted with the recent survey results.”

She said the surgery ran open access surgeries every morning at Long Clawson and Woolsthorpe, so a patient can see a GP, Nurse, HCA and Phlebotomist the same day, in addition to pre-bookable appointments.

Long Clawson partners with Woolsthorpe and Stackyard (Croxton Kerrial) surgeries, which also received very positive patient feedback.
