Staff at housebuilding firm to volunteer in community activities at Rearsby
Staff with a company building new homes at Rearsby have pledged to volunteer in local community initiatives for the next year.
Allison Homes East Midlands, which has been constructing Auster Meadows in the village, will support a variety of charities and community organisations, including environmental groups, wildlife and conservation charities, community projects, animal welfare organisations and services supporting vulnerable residents.
Named ‘Allison in Action’, the initiative has been created to strengthen the housebuilder’s connection with the communities surrounding its developments in Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire, while making a meaningful contribution to organisations that support residents, protect local environments and enhance community wellbeing.
Employees associated with Gynsill Grange in Anstey, Finney Meadows in Shepshed, St Mary’s Chase in Stanton under Bardon and Hayes View in Cotgrave will also be volunteering in those communities.
Karl Edwards, managing director at Allison Homes East Midlands, said: “At Allison Homes, we are passionate about creating communities, not just building homes.
"Through Allison in Action, our teams will have the opportunity to dedicate time throughout the year to supporting organisations that make a real difference to people’s lives.
“We are fortunate to work alongside many fantastic charities, community groups and volunteers across the East Midlands, and this initiative is about giving something back to the places that have welcomed our developments.
"Whether supporting environmental projects, community organisations or local causes, we hope Allison in Action will have a positive and lasting impact across the region.”
